Restaurant Flora
The main building of the University of Helsinki, designed in 1832 by Carl Ludvig Engel in the Empire style, is located by Senate Square, with excellent transport connections. Our stylish and elegant lunch restaurant can be found on the second floor, along the corridor near the Unioninkatu entrance.
At our buffet lunch, you can choose your favorite from three delicious and healthy main courses and enjoy your lunch break in a peaceful and beautiful setting. The buffet lunch includes a starter soup, a salad bar, side dishes, fresh rolls from our in-house baker, and coffee or tea. Lunch is served from 11 AM to 2 PM.
Restaurant Flora's stunning premises can also be reserved for private events for up to 50 people outside of lunch hours. The space is ideal for seated dinners, corporate events, anniversaries, and various other celebrations. The flexible venue can even be transformed into a stylish cocktail bar for your company’s annual party.
