The University of Helsinki's main building offers unique event and meeting spaces for both small-scale corporate events and grand celebrations.
The beautifully restored main building is located in the heart of Helsinki, right by Senate Square, in an Empire-style building designed by Carl Ludvig Engel and completed in 1832. Thanks to its central location, the main building is easily accessible by public transportation from all over Finland. For those arriving by car, the nearest paid parking facility is P-Kluuvi.
In the impressive event halls, you can host a variety of events, including seminars, conferences, cocktail receptions, annual celebrations, concerts, and more. The spaces accommodate between 18 and 800 people. The grand hall, located in the historic section of the building, has a capacity of 800 guests.
The University of Helsinki rents out its facilities for short-term use to businesses, the scientific community, public and nonprofit organizations, associations, and civic groups.
